Flying Instructors & Examiners A place for instructors to communicate with one another because some of them get a bit tired of the attitude that instructing is the lowest form of aviation, as seems to prevail on some of the other forums!

Skills Test on military reg aircraft

I'm going to wade through LASORS, ANO etc.. in next few days but does anyone know offhand whether you can do skills test for class ratings / renewal in an aircraft on the UK military register? The situation in mind is Air Cadet Vigilant operations and whether I could do a TMG skills test as a Vigilant instructor and also a PPL/FE.

As the aircraft is classed as a TMG then the answer is yes but first you have to find an Examiner who is class rated on TMGs, the only one I know has lost his medical.
