Carol Vorderman to start flying training this year!

On a tv programme last night Vorderman announced she has always wanted to be a pilot, and will start learning this year.

Of course as a Cambridge engineering graduate she'll be able to correct us all that it's not really 1 in 60, but 1 in 57.3 - and be able to do the sums as well. I'd rather stick to T/L's...

The studio's oop north innit so it's probably going to be somewhere around the Leeds Bradford area but nowt guaranteed!

Let's start a pool on who gets to be her instructor. Everyone chuck a quid in and winner takes all. I'd have said a tenner but being darn sarf it probably ain't gonna be me. I'd have difficulty concentrating in any case so maybe a good move.

She is rumoured to live near Bristol so she wont be doing her 'nowt' rating
