Part-time to Full-time FI.

Flying Instructors & Examiners A place for instructors to communicate with one another because some of them get a bit tired of the attitude that instructing is the lowest form of aviation, as seems to prevail on some of the other forums!

Part-time to Full-time FI.

Part-time to Full-time FI.

Yes I plan on taking the leap next March/April time. I am looking for a school/club in the West London/Berkshire/Hampshire/Oxon area that will keep me v. busy all day everyday for £20ph (more would be nice as would a retainer but you cant have everything). Any FIs out there recommend the school they work for?
How many hours are you doing per day/week?
Feel free to PM and fly safe people

I know someone who works at white waltham, think they're always on the sniff for instructors.

£500 retainer + hourly rate, think he'll earn around 15k for the year ish. 650hours per annum

I doubt all the schools will read this forum, it it can be pretty quiet after all. Have you tried doing your own legwork by contacting them individually? All the UK GA mags carry school directories on their websites.

Why don't you check Panshanger? It is within commuting distance from West-London.
