Where are you doing your FIC at Blackpool? There was no one doing it when I last looked around.

B&B yes there are one or two!

If it does get going I know a very good b & b about 5 min walk from the airport give me a shout and I will give you the number.

weather

A fair chance !
The weather has been poor for Blackpool, it is usually much better than it has been for the last few months! Historically Blackpool has enjoyed excellent weather when all around can be poor.
I'm not a betting man but if I were I would say FIC in October has the same if not more chance of going ahead than anywhere else in the UK. Don't forget your sunglasses and lotion

Could be a bit tricky as nobody holds an approval at Blackpool!

Errr, yes, but not in so clear and unequivocal a way. Not much point in puffing an approval that doesn't exist.
