Flying Instructors & Examiners A place for instructors to communicate with one another because some of them get a bit tired of the attitude that instructing is the lowest form of aviation, as seems to prevail on some of the other forums!

Devil Big Brother NZCAA has ruled

Hi you all.
Have a look at the NZ CAA web site part 61 submissions to NPRM 07-65, part 61 stage 111.
There were 58 submitters/submissions to this NPRM.
It is unbelievable that (or is it) that a group of Clerks can make an NPRM and ask for submissions from the industry concerned, and then
A: not publish the submissions
B: effectivly ignore the submisions
C: offer another avenue that will only pay lip service to the industry.
D: hide behind ICAO rules.
E: have such an ego that to say the industry is really wrong and we know best
The end line is that when this gets passed into law, all flight instructors ratings become invalid unless they are a holder or operate under a Part 141 certificate.
This is the equivalent of all doctors not allowed to practice medicine unless they are employed by a hospital.
I would like to suggest that all Independant flight Instructors Cat A,B,C,& D who do not wish to align them selves with the Fat cheque book holder , contact the writer, with a view to form an (suggestion)
Independant Flight Instructors Association, and we set up our own 141 and defeat the system.
Current and past instructors all welcome to submit any ideas via private contact or via this forum ( if it is allowed.)
Been instructing for 46years!
