CRI Training Courses

Following on from my previous thread about the CRI option, does anyone know where I could do the course? I know about On-track Aviation and I've have a look at the CAA doc that lists all schools, but it doesn't mention the CRI course!

Can any school that teaches the FI do it?

Cheers

CRI courses

I did the CRI course at Old Sarum in November last year.. excellent. David Scouller the CFI is the man to talk to.

Thanks for that Bramble001, they are a lot closer to me and cheaper than On-track Aviation :-)

Try Clive at SE Aviation. I did my FI rating with him - great fun.

They don't advertise the CRI course, does that mean any school that teaches the FIC can teach the CRI ?

In Standards Document 31 there is a listing titled "JAR FCL 1 Flight Instructor Associated Additional Qualifications (Aeroplanes)" Any one of the 40 FTOs on this list can conduct the CRI course.

CRI course

I did mine last Summer at Denham with Eva Paul. Absolutely great. I did the test with Carol Cooper. It's a pity this course and the uses to which the rating can be put aren't more widely advertised.

ring The Pilot Centre at Denham on 01895 833838
