Question Rotary to fixed wing conversion

I've got a PPL(H) doing a conversion to fixed wing microlight NPPL (he's no previous F/W experience). General handling exercises have gone well so far. Anybody care to suggest any booby traps which may be lurking in the student's knowledge or reactions that might catch us out somewhere down the line?

Thanks in advance.

When the engine quits in a helicopter ask him what the immediate reaction is with the controls(stick?) Does he push forward to recover airspeed?

You tend to have to apply aft stick in a heli if the engine quits. He might also stick right boot in if he's been flying R22's etc.
