Logg Hours, question :

Hello!

I finished my theory atpl. I will fly 50 hours for hour building before IR.

So I have a question :

I would like to fly few hours with an instructor, to have good skills, and many advices, etc... It is possible to logg my hours as captain (solo) and not as student pilot ??
So in the log book of the plane, I think we must writte that i am with an instructor, so 'student pilot", BUT in my log book, I would like to write "captain" or solo.
Is it possible ? legal ?

thank you very much!

On application for the IR you need 50 hours PIC on cross country fights. The PPL course includes a minimum of 5 hours PIC X-Ctry so maybe you only need 45!

If the instructor acts as an instructor and is authorised as the PIC in the Technical Log you must log it as Dual. If the Instructor is a passenger (unpaid) then he may be able to give you some free advice whilst you operate as PIC. Do instructors work for nothing?

Interpretation of the rules in France may differ slightly from the UK.
