I'm Looking to do my PPL Instructors Rating next year. Any advice on scottish schools who can do this would be appreciated (DB6). Also from the instructors amongst you, where I could do a SET instructors Rating, currently flying a caravan C208. Thanks

Once you have a FI rating, provided you have the SET Class on your licence the privileges of the FI rating alow you to instruct on it. JAR-FCL1.325 & 1.330.

http://www.taysideaviation.co.uk/fly...rtraining.html, courses at Dundee. Speak to Syd. The above list mentions Tayflite but I didn't know they did FI(R) stuff so can't say much either way. Perth aerodrome is a nice place but in a state of flux at the moment with rumours of caravan parks on the runway etc. Dundee will be around for a while though, and the Grob is an excellent aircraft, a cut above the normal Cessnas and Warriors.
