Flying Instructors & Examiners A place for instructors to communicate with one another because some of them get a bit tired of the attitude that instructing is the lowest form of aviation, as seems to prevail on some of the other forums!

Please Help me

I would like to know what qualifications you need to get paid as a flight instructor. I have been led to belive that it is a CPL but stapleford flight training website says nothing about this. It says you have to have 100 hrs PIC and have pass the ATPL Theory but says nothing about having a CPL

Does this mean i could get a job as a flight instructor with just the ATPL theory behind me and get paid for it.

Thanks

You can instruct with a PPL and CPL/ATPL theory and FI but you won't get paid, for that you need CPL and FI
