Flying Instructors & Examiners A place for instructors to communicate with one another because some of them get a bit tired of the attitude that instructing is the lowest form of aviation, as seems to prevail on some of the other forums!

Post FI long term career prospects

Hi i am currently studying for my PPL with the ambition to fly for a living. Im in a job atm where the money is good but the job satisfaction is zero and tbh id prefere a job with more job satisfaction than money. I was wondering of people who have chosen to be a FI rather than go for the airline option, how good is the job and what is a day in the life of like...? I know the money is no where as near the same as airline. Is there anyway to beat this information where a FI is paid a decent salary?

any info much appreciated

Andrew
