Flying Instructors & Examiners A place for instructors to communicate with one another because some of them get a bit tired of the attitude that instructing is the lowest form of aviation, as seems to prevail on some of the other forums!

Well done! It's the same as when you passed your driving test, got your PPL, and if you have done it yet, got your I.R.: Now you have obtained the license/rating you've got to learn how to use it! Don't be afraid to ask questions of your more experienced colleagues - they will have come across your problems before - and of course if that fails we will always try and help you here - the cloak of anonimity is sometimes very useful - Enjoy your new rating!

P.P.

Thumbs up

Well done mate, all ready for the summer, you will have a great time! When you get your first student to the solo standard and they get signed of by an un-restricted FI it is a great feeling to see them land safely and a bit of a nerve racking one too!

Enjoy your fair share of trial lessons and vomit in the cockpit .

Nice one Jinkster!

Hope you do less of it than I had to endure (6 years before I got a commercial job!)

It's a fun job though

Particularly used to enjoy the punters asking me what my "real job" was!!
