Flying Instructors & Examiners A place for instructors to communicate with one another because some of them get a bit tired of the attitude that instructing is the lowest form of aviation, as seems to prevail on some of the other forums!

Hello everybody, i have a question.

How many of you are CP4 (colour unsafe) Flight Instructors?
It's just a curiosity... since I am a CP4
It'd be nice to hear some stories about your careers!
Happy Landing!

Hello A

I am. Have waiver on my US CPL which allows me to fly at night in this country, but not commercially and no public transport.

There is a colour blindness thread if you do a search with much useful info. You could consider going abroad to another JAA country (the CAA themselves suggested France and Switzerland to me!)- Poland has been mooted on said thread.

Having said all this it doesn't restrict me much but puts the mokkers on dreams of flying a Citation X unless I meet a rich American heiress. Now there's an idea...
