UK VHF-RT Examiners

Does anyone know the process to become a qualified UK RT Practical Examiner (VHF only)? Have consulted LASORS but am unable to find what I am looking for. Any help and advice appreciated?

It would be necessay to find a club or school to sponsor you as the number of examiners is limited at any one location. You should then contact the Chief Examiner, Mike Grierson, at Aviation House. He will view your application in the light of need in your area. If all goes well in that respect you need to find an examiner who will show you the ropes prior to assessment by Mike. If you wish to send me a PM then I may be able to give you some guidance.

CAA PLD Standards Document 4 Requirements for RTF Examiners. Call them, they will send you a copy.
