Im in the process of gathering information on ab-anitio FAPTL courses,with the forsight that i shall hav to get a FI rating at completion,can you give me a ball park figure what the rating will cost if taken in uk? all sites say ring for info but i thought id try here first.

Got your class 1 medical? If not, get it first.
I would imagine an instructor course will cost you about £6-7k. There might be cheaper places but don't get fobbed off with shoddy a/c and poor availability.
