Working Time Directive and Duty Hours

As an ex flying instructor now in the big bad world of commercial aviation, I am interested to know whether instructors are bound by Flight Duty Time restrictions and the new 2000 hour working time directive?

hello

Someone may correct me but I think unless you are on an AOC then you could work 24hours a day if you wanted to, although not recommended... everyone needs some sleep
