NPPL Skill Tests

Morning all - another question for the start of the week....

I'm trying to find out the requirements to supervise the NPPL GST and NST. Does it still need to be taken with a CAA examiner or can it be done by any FI?

The NPPL website tends to imply that the tests can be signed off by any Instructor - if that is the case, I'm assuming that doesn't also mean FI(R)s?

Also are there standard fees to be paid?

Thanks to all.

Having looked at te FAQ page for the NPPL I can see why you might think that.

Q Can I be examined on a NPPL skills test by my own flight instructor?
A Yes, but good practice suggests that skills tests should be examined whenever possible by someone other than the instructor who has conducted the bulk of the training.
However that is only the case if your instructor is also a flight examiner.
