Question IMC before BCPL?

Would be grateful for some help.

Last year, I was on a BCPL/IMC course. I completed my IMC training but failed the test. I had to leave the school due to financial difficulties.

I want to resume my BCPL training but do I need to obtain an IMC rating before i can start?

I want to do an upgrade course eventually so i don't see much point in getting an IMC rating.

I don't mind retraining for the IMC but i am worried about the time factor since the last issue date for the BCPL as i Understand it is June 2000 and i just want to get on with it!!

many thanks

Unhappy

If you retake the IMC test and pass it you will only have to do a 15 hour BCPL Course. If not, its a 25 hour course. It is not essential to have passed the IMC test.

Have you passed the ground exams yet? if not you may have left it a bit late.
