Try The Bow Valley ,West of Calgary for real mountain flying.Worth the trip from Calgary to Revelstoke ,some of the biggest hills .How big ,BIG .
The bernoulli effect through the valley can be impressive, seventy knot headwinds not unusual late afternoon, try turning a cessna round in that.On a good day one of the best flights you will ever have. After you have flown the Rockies you will know why birds sing.
