Flying instructors have always been realistic and, at the same time have always possessed the ever present intuition that madness is a remote thing, which can be attained with infinite slowness by those who have the patience.

Or in some cases, like yours, I guess madness just struck out of the blue when you least expected it!

Who said that? AARRGGHH, I think the avionics are inserting thoughts in my head. Oh my God! I'm sooo confuuused.......

NO NO! Not that jacket with the extra long sleeves again! You *know* it clashes with my special laceless shoes.

<and all I did was start teaching all my straight & level lessons while inverted - everything seemed to make so much more sense that way>
