Post Mental DR

Juswannofly,

I was wondering about the in-flight stuff for drift calculation, GS calculation etc. I've seen some stuff from old RAF and RAAF training manuals that specifically talks about mental DR (clock code, proportional nav etc.).

Some of the stuff in the manuals, like the "clock code" for seems to use trigonometric relationships, which may be beyond the maths ability of some studs.
