Post Newcastle/Durham Flying School?

Hello all, wonder if you can point me in the right direction?

I would like to get checked out in a piston aircraft somewhere around the Durham/Newcastle area.

Ideally the aircraft would have some aerobat qualities.

Any suggestions please for a decent school/club?

Many thanks, GA.

Steve Marples at Newcastle has a Slingsby T-67 C, he may still be hangaring an M model, very gucci for aeros. As for a club the Newcastle Flying Club is the one there. Teeside also has a couple of clubs as well.

...there i was 40,000ft...
