Bruce Latton
I was saddened to hear today that Bruce Latton died on Friday after a battle against cancer - fought with his usual enthusiasm and optimism. Bruce was a total aviation person and, among many other things, was Commandant CFS and, more recently, Head of Training at OATS.
Bruce always had time for a chat and made you feel that your views and concerns were important - a very straightforward man who will be greatly missed.

Very sad to hear that, Bruce was the Commandant at CFS when I was going through the course and was a true breath of fresh air with commonsense views, a ready wit and a very friendly manner towards his subordinates. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him; another sad loss of a total aviation person.
Bruce - we'll all miss you.

Only ever had one brief dealing with him. He was clearly a man of wit, honour and discretion.
