Flying Instructors & Examiners A place for instructors to communicate with one another because some of them get a bit tired of the attitude that instructing is the lowest form of aviation, as seems to prevail on some of the other forums!

You need a PPL with 200 hours. You must pass the CPL level exams which now requires at minimum, a distance learning course.
You will then need to pass the FI pre-entry test and complete the FI Course of 30 hours flying and 125 hours ground school. Typically about £4K - £5K. You cannot be remunerated once you start instructing on a PPL.
