Flying Instructors & Examiners A place for instructors to communicate with one another because some of them get a bit tired of the attitude that instructing is the lowest form of aviation, as seems to prevail on some of the other forums!

Question Is it worth getting an instructors ticket in order to hours build

Having been a helicopter instructor for about 12 years now, I'm considering paying for an instructors course for my fixed wing rating. Is there enough work out there to justify it?

Unhappy

I think you'd be better off flying helicopters for pay, and using the money to rent light singles.

(slightly disheartened and rather broke fixed wing instructor)
