Angry BCPL or R/BCPL??

Are you one of those FIs who teaches on a BCPL or Restricted BCPL at PPL level?? No doubt then you've received a nice little letter from Dr A D B Evans of the CAA telling you that they've decided to stop issuing UK Class II medical certificates - even for BCPL and R/BCPL renewals. You now have to suffer the additional time and trouble of having a JAA Class 1 medical even if all you want to do is to earn a few quid in your spare time teaching farmers to fly Cessnas without killing themselves.
If you don't like this quite unjustifiable increase in cost for nothing more than the CAA's administrative convenience, why not write to the CAA or Chris Mullin at the DETR and let them know your thoughts. Don't let them get away with this without protest!!

(This is the edited-for-TV version, my original post which included appropriate e-mail addresses appears to have been moderated!!)
