Flying Instructors & Examiners A place for instructors to communicate with one another because some of them get a bit tired of the attitude that instructing is the lowest form of aviation, as seems to prevail on some of the other forums!

NPPL FI rating and Microlight AFI pay

Hi,

I am currently nearing the end of my NPPL Microlight training and I am considering going on to an AFI course (since with the NPPL FI I understand that you can be paid for instructing NPPL (M) with NPPL + hours + AFI rating i.e. no CPL). I know this may be a bit cheeky but could anybody give me ar ough idea of how much I can expect to get per hour as a microlight AFI or QFI. Im not expecting to make a proper living as I will be doing it part time.

Cheers
