F.i.c. Work Sheets

Hi, looking for some help with a F.I.C. work sheet I'm doing.

Q: How often are temporary navigation warnings issued?

Now ,temporary nav warnings are issued via NOTAM, which are promulgated on the AIS website, yes?. After much routing around on both website and in various notes ATPL/PPL I've been unable to find the answer to the question. Any ideas?

Regards,

Summers.

There is no min time limit they are issued when needed.

They can be issued within minutes.

Example of this is say a on route VOR goes down for example TLA which has nearly all the North bound airways traffic going to it. The ATC sectors using this VOR just do an all stations broadcast with the warning assoon as ATC are informed. Then usually asks if anyone needs vectors because of it.

Same with sigmets all station broadcasts.

At the same time they will be being added to the hard copy sites.

Remember quite alot of traffic will have been in the air for 5 plus hours so there as to be a system to notify them of on route problems in the air.
