IR computer flight sim

Hi there

Just wondering if anybody could advise me on computer programme to practice for IR.

I've got flight sim 2004, but thinking about getting something better.

I will appreciate any comments

I found that RANT 2000 was great when I did my I/R

Used it day and night when not flying and Got a first time Pass on my test

There are several available, have a look at the Transair cat or try a google.
I've been using IFTPRO for years with my students (and me!) and really like the interface and dynamics. If you want to run on a laptop you need version 6 to get support for non-VGA display formats, if you have a CRT display or versatile LCD you could use v5.1.3. The problem is that the company that produced it disappeared several years ago so you'll need to look around for a copy.
