Unhappy How can i become a test pilot?

Dear friends,
I am in the RAF at Trinity school, croydon. I have been on some flights and because I enjoyed them so much, I decided I want a career in Flying. After some research, I decided that I want to become a Test Pilot. Does anyone know the necessary paths I need to take to reach my goal.
Thanks you,
Ez Hassan

Could I suggest starting with the "FAQ" sticky at the top of the forum, this question has been asked quite a few times before and you'll find a lot of answers there already.

Best of luck with it,

How to Become a Test Pilot

I'm not a TP, not for a few years, but I guess I could offer some advice. I've been asking this question for years to QTPs and FTEs.

1) Join the military and get them to send you to TPS, which costs over 1/2 a million dollars.

2) Get yourself the appropriate tech. background. Aerospace Engineering is good idea. Specialize in flight testing or something related and FLY FLY FLY. Join a major manufacturer as an FTE and work your way up. Make lots of contacts.

I'm working on the same thing. I did a master in Aerospace Eng. and specialized in flight testing and handling qualities...spent numerous hours in motion sims, testing, learning and flying. Currently got my commercial, IFR and looking for work as a pilot to build hours...and then maybe one day.....

Hope this helps
