Tornado F2 ZD936

I'm looking for help to discover more about this Tornado F2. Its front section is now on display at the Boscombe Down Aviation Collection (BDAC), just down the road at Old Sarum. Can anybody shed any light on its history beyond what we already know please? We're trying to work out any relationship with the flight test community and Boscombe Down specifically.
We know the date of first flight, that it served with 229 OCU, and that its centre section was used to replace one of the F3s damaged by Airworks in 1992/3 (ZE251), with the remainder of ZD936 scrapped at St. Athan in Jan 2001. We don't know when its last flight was - probably to St Athan. There's a photo of it at the Lossiemouth airshow in July 1986. It is alleged that it was used as a cockpit-only demonstrator for obstruction trials at RAE Bedford, but we don't have any information about this. We also don't know how it ended up at Boscombe Down and what it was used for, only that the front section probably arrived there in 2003 and was moved to BDAC on 1 July 2012.
All facts welcome!
