Is Brian Powell, ex Vickers/Wisley Test Pilot, still a member of this Board??

These won't answer your question, but I was at Wisley on and off from around 1956 until it closed, and I don't remember anyone called Brian Powell. Would be interested know if am wrong.

I am not sure but I think Brian may have been flying with Hunting (although it may be a little early) around that time. He was involved in test flying on Comets as well. He sounded in reasonable form last time I spoke to him a year or so ago but he must be a good age by now as he was flying with Westminster Airways as Chief Pilot not long after the war
