Can anyone tell me what would happen if you attempted to start a L-39 at 5000 ft MSL with a density altitude of 7,500 if FOD was injested during the start and restricted the intake by 40%. Assume this happens at the moment just prior to introducing fuel into the main turbine.

Agree entirely with JF.
Watched a King Air taxi out last week with both intake pugs left in. Both engines started and ran fine....until an embarrassed crew were notified.
Entirely different engines of course.
