777 Speedbrake lever
Good day,
I have a problem in a BOX, with that handle. It is not A/C part, and when I'm not in stow or armed, say mid position extended, I have a bit of play back/fwd in the handle. About 1/4 inch in each direction. In the AMM there is not tolerance given for this nor guidance about adjusting a play back/fwd. Mainly I think because of the design, there is only one rod going to the actuator.
Does any one observed that play on an aging 777 or is it still crisp and sharp like when it came out KBF even after a couple of years?
Many thanks.
Alex.

Hi.
B777's with up to 50K hrs/8Kc no significant slop in the S/B handle. Having said that, in a FFS wouldn't consider such slop as more than a frustration.
Happy New Year
