Supersonic Aerodynamics Movie

Hello

I have to give a class about supersonic aerodynamics in an ATPL course. I remember that we watched a movie in the test pilot school about wind tunnel test. As far as I remember this movie was produced by Shell. Eventough it is a pretty old movie it is still very good. I would like to show this movie to the students. Does anybody have this movie? If yes I would appreciate it very much you you could send it to me.

Thank you very much in advance.

Damian

Have you tried contacting Shell direct. I got one a few years ago but it has long gone. First saw the film in the RAF in 1962.

There was a Three-part series called "High Speed Flight. Shell Films, 1957 which may be the one you're thinking of.

A complete list of Shell films can be found here: BFI | Film & TV Database | Shell Film Unit, they are not in any particular groupings (they are listed chronologically) so you'll need to trawl through the various pages to find all the aviation ones.

We've actually watched this movie a couple of days ago in ATPL ground school... it's old but very-well made I think. If you haven't found it yet, I can ask our instructor for a copy
