Mike Parrag RIP
I understand that Mike Parrag of Calspan Learjet fame has passed away. I'm sure he and his contribution the the FT world will be remembered fondly by many. Condolences to his family. <img src="frown.gif" border="0">

As a fellow Canadian, I will certainly miss his m'audit tabernac every time we met.
a great loss to the flight test community. Mike could talk at any level you wanted about stability and control and handling qualities (of fixed wing airplanes).
One of his best lines was "You can't conclude on closed loop handling on the basis of open loop responses" and truer words were never spoken.

I too would like to add my condolences to the Parrag family. I had the pleasure of meeting Mike through Calspan and SETP. He always maintained an obvious love of this line of work. I especially liked his "parragmatic" approach to flight testing.
He will be missed.
