Post Challenger Crash at KICT

A Bombardier Flight Test Challenger 604 crashed during take off from Wichita Mid Continent Airport last Tuesday 10 October. NTSB has recently finished their on-site investigation and the wreckage removed to a hangar at the airport. Killed in the crash were Experimental Test Pilot, Bryan Irelan and Flight Test Engineer, David Riggs. In hospital in critical condition is Experimental Test Pilot, Eric Fiore.
Bryan and Dave, you will be sadly missed by all. Eric, our wishes for a speedy recovery.

Unfortunate news chaps - Eric Fiore passed away a few days ago. He never left hospital.

The Wichita Eagle has covered the story in quite a few editions. Go check their website.

There is nothing more from NTSB yet.
