Engineers happy with A380 delays

Some interesting quotes from the Airbus engineers carrying out testing in Al Ain last week: http://www.gulfnews.com/business/Aviation/10077574.html

So engineers anticipated delays. So same engineers take advantage of said delays for additional testing.

What did you expect? That no one inside Airbus anticipated delays on the build? That no one inside airbus had the gumption to take advantage of said delays to undertake more testing?

Or that someone inside Airbus has spoken openly?

A no story.

And for the contract engineers, every change is just like pennies from heaven.
