CT4 spin flight trails.
Looking for information on the spin flight trails of the Pacific Aircraft Corporations' (PAC) CT4. Need the information for a presentation to other instructors. Would be greatful for any links etc.
Have you tried the company's flight test department via http://www.aerospace.co.nz/index.htm ?
There's also some online information at http://www.aerospace.co.nz/downloads/Default.htm, although probably not what you're after.

I have a paper copy of ARDU's 1978 report, CT4A Airtrainer - Preliminary Determination of Spinning Characteristics - what sort of info are you after?
The report stated "number of turns to recover from 6 and 8 turn erect spins was unacceptable for solo student pilots" - their recovery from the stable (flat) spin mode did not use aileron unless, after their other recommended actions, it is "still spinning after 4 turns". The factory did some tests in the 90's for Australian civil certification but I have no info on them except the recollection that the factory method includes full in-spin aileron in the recommended recovery technique to keep recoveries within 1.5 turns.
