F-22 and mobil phones

Hi

Can anyone confirm that the test pilots that fly the F-22 are still using Mobile phones for the occasions when the system crashes and leaves them without comms or nav, a German test pilot has claimed this is the case last year when he was at Edwards AFB (US) testing an F-16 HMD!!!.

Thanks
