RVSM FL in Europe

Hi folks...

I´m new on this forum, and I´m a FOO living here at São Paulo (SBGR)...

So, I´m out from dispatch business for a while and I heard that Portugal and Spain (and possibly France) have non-standard RVSM levels..

ie.
ODD in Europe is 290/330/350/370/390
EVEN is 300/320/340/360/380/400

But inside Portugal and Spain airspace it would be the opposite:
EVEN is 290/330/350/370/390
ODD is 300/320/340/360/380/400

Can someone confirm/deny it?

Thanks in advance

--> Eastbound 290/310/330/350/370/390/410
<-- Westbound 300/320/340/360/380/400

This is valid for the whole RVSM area including Spain and Portugal.

You are right (sort of, it's not exactly oposite direction).
While the vast majority of European States use East/West, Portugal, Spain France and a part of Italy use the North/South magnetic tracks (090 to 269 ODD's and 270 to 089 EVENs) for level allocation.

The reason behind it is that the main traffic flows in those countries are mainly North/South, so it would not make much sense to use the East/West.
