german charter airline.
licensed and working as ops controller and flight dispatcher. after 7 years ca. 3k eur net salary, depending on number of night shifts/weekends. working 6 on, 3 off, every 6 weeks 5 on, 4 off (8hour shifts).
roughly 2.4k gbp.

Recently enlarged uk charter carrier,

Flight Planning, Slot coordinator with FAA licence take home with no overtime £1498.

Not that good considering 10 years plus service

Middle East VIP Jet operater...I just landed ops controller after 1.3 years as Flight dispatcher...

Salary = 3000+ GBP
in local currency that's more than AED22,000 senior ops controllers get close to 4000GBP I think

I work 4 days on 4 days off in an extemly stress full envoirment...:sad:
but the pay is good

and it's tax free//but that total salary is the whole thing...yo wont get a penny more other than childresn school and medical + tickets for you and your spouse...

hey slair!

I am assuming that u had tonns of experiance before joining as dispatcher....but still that is pretty awesome pay in the middleast...is that with accom?

i am planning to become a flight dispatcher....have no experiance...wondering what to expact man...any heads up would be good!
