Genghis The Engineer pointed out that Certified Weights are listed as part of the Type Certificate Data Sheets and that CAA and FAA Site Searches would provide a link to a PDF File for the required type.

As we are aware Operators Weights Engineers do work with their National Authority to get approval for variations (i,e, lower :-) of certification weights to be applied to their Aircraft and that due to this Load Control, et al cannot use the TCDS quoted weights operationally.

However for general information these documents are of interest and therefore rather than starting a search for the Type you are interested in from the Regualtory Authorities Home Page, I suggest you use the following links to provide a more focussed search:

• European Aviation Safety Agency - English - TCDS
• FAA (USA) TCDS

Note: Within the EU the European Aviation Safety Agency is now the regulator and increasingly TCDS for Current Types will move over to this organisation.
