Information on Ops Systems

Hi

I wonder if anyone can help me with a couple of questions?

1. Does anyone have contact details or a website address for Air Data (Flight planning system).

2. There was a company I heard of a few years back called Air Ops, they had an operations system for small airlines. a) are the still around and b) any contact details or website address?

Thanks in advance for any information.

Brgds

Hope the above would help.
As I am aware of the air data system is very good compare with the Jet plan. I am not sure about the cost. But if will pull more than 200 flight plan a month then SITA is great but you staff may need to spend a bit longer for the training.

The Airops company based at Farnborough does not provide flight planning software, it's more commercial and planning for smaller airlines/GA.

Hi OCC.

are you looking for a flight planning system or an OPS control system?

It always depends on the scope of your operation (how many aircraft, what group of aircraft - i.e. jet or prop, etc...

If for the flight planning system, you might also want to take a look at JetPlanner or jetplan.com from Jeppesen.

As for the OPS control Systems, I would recommend SkyOps from Cyberjet.

If you require details drop me a message.

Cheers

Hi Guys,

Thanks again for the information.

fcit

I am looking at both flight planning and ops systems, I think Jeppesen is the best for the flight planning as it is the best of the ones I have used, but the bean counter is not a keen so looking at a few options.
The ops system, I had heard of the Airops system before but had no contacts for them.
We only have 2 jet freighters so not a lot of crew and things are done on excel or word. Looking for something that can do the basics.
Not the type of operation for Aims or RM, or that type of budget.

Cheers
