Dispatch to avoid Volcanic Ash
For the dispatchers here: when you plan routes in areas affected by volcanic ash, what are the primary products you rely on? Do you prioritize the VAAC Volcanic Ash Advisories, SIGMETs, or ASHTAMs? And how do you integrate these different sources when deciding whether to reroute, avoid levels, or proceed as planned? I’m interested in understanding the actual workflow you use in operations
