Takeoff alternate suitability time
Hi all,
For destination alternate airport, suitability time is 1 hour before and 1 hour after estimated arrival time, easy to compute.
And how about suitability time for Takeoff alternate airport, does anyone know how is it computed ?
Thanks for your reply !

2-Engine aircraft: The distance that can be flown in 60 minutes at the one-engine inoperative cruise speed. 3- and 4-Engine aircraft: the distance that can be flown in 120 minutes at the one-engine inoperative cruise speed, where the operator is authorized for ETOPS flights. Otherwise, it defaults to the 60 minute rule.
