Airline Crew & Ops software Outage
Looking for information on recent Crew, Operations, and Flight Planning software outages and breaches...
I found on this forum that Scoot had a major breach in mid-2021 relating to their AIMS software used for flight crew scheduling and optimisation as well as flight operations management, and Jeppessen had a significant outage at the start of 2023 affecting ALL their Flight Planning & Dispatch Customers.
Besides this, I also came across rumours that AIMS had 4x major outages in 2022-23 where the system was not available for over 24 hours.
Can anyone share their experience, and also any info of recent breaches, outages etc specifically on AIMS, IBS, Sabre, Jeppesen... Any information on the cost for this software will also be helpful.
