Cool Follow Me procedures

Hi,
I am developing Follow Me procedure for LVO's. Is there a reference to specify a minimum safe distance,(i.e. pilot line of sight) for different aircraft or is there a general accepted minimum safe distance?

Thanks.

In the many years I was an air-side driver doing Follow Me procedures, I cant remember ever being told a minimum safe distance.. it was very much horses for courses. Its been 15 years since i did it, but we drove at normal taxy speed usually minimum of two aircraft lengths ahead of the aircraft (less in low viability, so we could see the aircraft and they could see me)
