Airline customerservice
Hi just wondering if anyone can tell me what it's like to be a baggage check in /customer service for any airline .
1. What is the job like
2. pros and cons of the job
3. Can you do part time
4. How do you find positions? Seek? website?
5. The approximate remuneration
Thanks in advance

Interesting at first, lots to learn. New jargon. Regardless what department you join you need to keep to time, and work quickly.
You need a driving licence to work in baggage. Shift patterns will probably be a shock to the body, very early starts and very late finishes.
Check these companies for work-
Australian Air Express - AAE
Aviation Ground Handling Pty Ltd
Hawker Pacific Flight centre
Menzies Aviation
Oceania Aviation Services Pty Ltd
Platinum Business Aviation Centre
Skystar Airport Services Pty Ltd
Toll Dnata Airport Services
Universal Aviation

Aerocare another major player in the subcontracting ground crew game. Check their website for applications.
Expect about 34k/year as a casual - permanent/part time positions come up after you've worked for them for a period of time. I had a blast for the year I was ground crew, but it wasn't so much the company, as it was the people I worked with (like anywhere I guess). Cons of the job - shift work (4am - 1pm, 10pm - 2am - same day).
Good luck!
