CPM LDM messages

Load Message is sent primarily to enable the transit station to know the load which continuous on the same aircraft.
when I was parse those message I only got total gross weight allocated for the particular hold (abstract level eg 4). But In our system we need information in bay level ( eg 42L, 42R). how can we get those information ?
or we manually feed those information ?

We need information is it bulk or unit load ? how can we get those information?

what is the purpose of CPM messages ?

it is any other way to get prior station load which continuous on the same aircraft ?

please help me !

A CPM is a Container Pallet Message for a containerised aircraft, be it narrow body or wide body. Its to allow the down route station to plan the offload.

The information you are looking for for positions 42L / 42R etc is for a CPM. I'm not sure if i'm understanding your question correctly or not however the information for these positions comes from the completed LIR / UWS ? Notoc etc.

Generally you will need the ULD number, the commodity type and the destination. If you need to put in the weight then it's the Tare weight of the ULD plus the weight of whatever is in said ULD.

I'm unsure of the software you are using but I'm sure that in some, for example ALTEA, if you produce an LIR in it then it will auto produce a CPM when the departure station departs the flight.

If you are sending a CPM then you should also be sending a UCM (Unit Control Message) for stock control purposes.

Hope this helps.

thanks Bigbluebroxi for your great help

So, CPM is for a containerised aircraft. LDM is for bulk loaded aircraft. and both message used for plan the offload.

I just want to know when those messages are sent ?

LDMs

I only deal with LDMs as only handle narrow body bulk loaded and turboprops.

They should contain load after any LMCs have taken place. Generally used to let transit stations know exactly who and what is onboard and where but it's also nice to know (for our turboprops) the location and number of bags so we can plan which equipment to use and also crew configuration to start return loadsheet 2/2 3/2 2/3 etc

Although at most stations who send the LDM to me, it seems to be compiled by a different person than who sends MVT as their LDMs always have pre-LMC data so I wouldn't put much stock in their LDM actually being representative of what's onboard. I try and prepare my LDMs via a SITA programme and send once airborne.

CPM/LDM

Which W&B/Load Planning system do you use? I know that some can be 'tweaked' to individual customers requirements so that e.g. the individual position weight can be shown on the LDM.

Purpose of the LDM is for the load-planner on the next leg of a multi-sector flight knows the figures for the next leg.

Example.. if the flight is routed SIN-DXB-LHR, the LDM from SIN will be broken up into 2 parts, one for SIN-DXB and and one for SIN-LHR. The loadmaster in DXB will use the data in the SIN-LHR part of the LDM telex for his load-sheet and then add in the load joining from DXB.

The CPM is used for aircraft where ULDs are loaded. This will give the loaders info as to which containers are for which destination and also which ULDs contain bags and which contain cargo/mails etc.

A CPM is mandatory for all sectors of ULD equipped aircrafts. An LDM is required for all sectors on all aircraft types except the last sector for an aircraft with ULDs as the CPM is sufficient. As aircraft with only bulk does not have any CPM, the LDM, while not required by most airlines, is still a way to inform the next station of what to expect on the incoming flight.
